The Sr. Assistant Account Manager will be assisting Account Executives/Account Managers with a variety of professional tasks in support of renewing and servicing the agency's existing clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assignment of renewal tasks that fall within the scope of the Assistant Account Manager / Sr. Assistant Account Manager group.
- Assist with developing Assistant Account Managers by acting as a resource to the individuals on their team.
- Act as the primary contact and handle renewal for small business and/or lines of business under $5,000 in premium within the team's book.
- As experience grows, prepare loss analysis and underwriting perspective on upcoming renewals for delivery to Account Manager / Account Executive
- Provide day to day servicing to our clients, including issuing certificates, auto ID cards, processing endorsement requests, policy checking, billing issues, and invoicing as requested by the Account Managers.
- Assist with maintaining and formatting exposure schedules, preparing renewal applications, obtain loss runs for renewals and create loss summaries.
- Research/investigate issues as needed (for instance, Experience Modification Factor changes)
- Set up new clients in Epic as necessary
- Transmit insurance policies to clients. As experience grows, check the policies for accuracy prior to transmitting.
- Continuous, clear, and professional verbal and written communication is necessary with clients, carriers, and internal team members. Other similar tasks, as assigned.
- As experience grows, begin servicing and renewing some smaller accounts.
- Responsible for learning, understanding and adhering to our internal timelines, protocols and workflows.
Job Requirements:
- 4 year College Degree, preferred
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position on the agency or corporate side, required
- Current P&C Producer License, required or must obtain within 60 days of promotion
- Prior experience working within Epic or another Agency Management System, required.
- Experience with workers compensation, general liability, auto liability, professional liability, property insurance coverages, required
- Successful completion of Agency's internal training program
- Experience with workers compensation, general liability, auto liability, professional liability, property insurance coverages, preferred
- Highly comfortable with using various types of computer technology in a fast-paced environment, including strong usage of Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
